Every year I do my taxes online, I have a number of income sources and right offs including my own business, revenue properties and more. Every year I tell myself that I should hire an accountant to do my taxes, and every year I never seem to find time to call an accountant nor the desire to pay an accountant.
Every year there comes a Saturday night in which I realize I'm running out of time, I usually start at about 11pm, after the wife and kids have gone to bed with the thought of if it gets to hard I'll call someone on Monday, however since I started using QuickTax online I have yet to call for help. The beauty is that until you are done answering all the questions you don't pay a cent, and you know what you owe or what is coming back before you purchase - meaning that if you are concerned you missed something you can simply not file with QuickTax, and go to an accountant or tax centre to get your taxes done.
I've tried other online services but none have been as easy to use or as east find the answers to my questions when I used them. Typically with my complex tax situation I usually am done within 2 hours, and then I review what I've inputted the following day.
